Dear friends,
Thanks again for your superb rehearsal last night. I meant what I said that you are a blessing to me. That’s because I believe in the One who blesses. You play beyond the level of most "community" bands in that you play with expression. You don’t play notes, you play with expression and passion. This is what sells it to the audience. Musicians from other locales have confirmed this. "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of Light…" James 1:7 I hope you realize what a gift we are to each other and this includes the singers as well. They are part of The Band. For a group of people to come together to sacrifice their time and offer their talents at such a high level is a true gift, not just to each other but to the community as well.
Going forward, you have the ability to put all this together Monday night and take your audience on an extraordinary journey. Prepare in your hearts to bring it Monday night. We’re not just celebrating Neal Haworth-we’re celebrating his legacy of love through music. I can’t wait!
